$4,000 Guaranteed - Scholarship Prize Fund!
This event is to highlight the youth bowlers at Buffaloe Lanes. All current youth bowlers of the four Buffaloe Lanes Centers are invited to compete in this championship event to be held at Buffaloe Lanes South. This event includes bowling, prizes, lunch and more. Youth Bowlers from each center compete for a piece of a prize fund of over $4,000 and a little bit of center pride.
We here at Buffaloe Lanes Family Bowling Entertainment Centers, being devoted to the community for over 25 years are giving even more to our youth bowlers. This is a scratch division tournament with divisions being determined not by age, or gender but purely on skill. Divisions are by average only. By the way, the prize fund is provided entirely by Buffaloe Lanes.
Absolutely no one not bowling in a 2011-2012 Buffaloe Lanes Youth League will be allowed to compete. Entries will be accepted on a first paid, first entered basis. Space may be limited, so mark your calendar and sign up early.

Tournament Rules
1. Eligibility:
Bowlers:
- Must have bowled in a 2010-2011 Buffaloe Lanes North, South, Cary and/or Erwin youth league
- Must bowl in a 2011-2012 Buffaloe Lanes North, South, Cary and/or Erwin youth league
- Bowler must be in good standing, in all leagues bowled
- A bowler may not compete more than once.
- USBC Youth Rules will be in effect.
2. Costs:
$20 per bowler: For individuals that qualify.
Late Reg. Fee: A late fee of $15 for entries not received before October 8th, 2011 must be paid prior to competition.
3. Average:
Averages: Average will be the bowler’s highest Buffaloe Lanes league final 2010-2011 average, from all leagues bowled in Buffaloe Lanes Centers.
Handicap: No handicap will be used for this tournament.4. Entries
All entries must be received before October 10thAny entry received after October 8th is subject to divisional availability and will be assessed a $15 late entry charge.
Must report to the tournament desk during scheduled check in-time. (12:30pm-1:30pm Saturday)
5. Divisions:
All bowlers in the championship will compete in one of four divisions, regardless of age or gender. Divisions are determined by the bowler’s qualifying average only. (See Above #3 Bowlers/Eligibility) All Divisions bowl at 2:00 pm Saturday October 15th, 2011.
- Gold Division - Qualifying average of 180 and above.
- Silver Division- Qualifying average of 154 to 179.
- Bronze Division - Qualifying average of 129 to 153
- Nickel Division - Qualifying average of 128 and below
8. Payout
- The Top two positions in each division are guaranteed paid positions.

- The winner in each division will receive a free entry into the 2011 – 2012 Youth Championship.
- Prizes will be paid in the form of scholarship to a Buffaloe Lanes USBC SMART account in the name of the recipient.
- Scholarship monies will be available to the winners through the bowler’s SMART account After January 1, 2012.
- Any forfeited monies will be returned to the Buffaloe Lanes USBC SMART general account.

Any rules not covered by these definitions will be decided by the tournament director.
