Qualifications:

Divisions:

Boys and Girls divisions will be competing separately. All formats, prizes and rules will apply to each division. If there are not enough bowlers in a division to cut after 5 games of qualifying, then that division will bowl 8 consecutive games.

Format:

All games will be bowled on the World Ten Pin Bowling Association Beijing oil pattern
5 games of qualifying
After 5 games the field is cut in half
The remaining field will bowl 3 games
The 8 game total pin fall will determine the top 4 advancing to the stepladder finals.
Stepladder finals will be a one game match with the winner advancing (4 vs. 3, winner vs. 2… etc.).

Prize:

1st place will receive an Entry into the National Junior Gold Tournament.
Other winners will be based on a 1 in 5 ratio to receive an entry into the National Junior Gold Tournament. No Scholarship money will be awarded.

Rules:

All bowlers must have his or her name on the back of their shirt.
All bowlers must wear pants. NO JEANS, SHORTS, SKIRTS….ETC.!
NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN THE BOWLING AREA AND/OR USED BY THE BOWLERS DURING COMPETITION.
Unsportsmanlike conduct will NOT be tolerated!
Any tie after the first 5 games of qualifying to determine the cut will be determined by a 9th and 10th frame roll off. The same roll off will be used to determine a cut after the next 3 games of qualifying.
If a tie exists between bowlers in the stepladder to determine a seed, the bowler with the highest game in the last 3 games of qualifying will receive the higher seed.
A 9th and 10th frame roll off will break any tie during a stepladder match.

Check-In will be at 10:30am and Bowl at 11am.
Any Rule Not Covered will be covered by USBC!
